Peppermint Soap Dough Extruder Disc Set | Cold Process Peppermint Embed | 2-Disc System

How It Works

1. Load white soap dough into your Jamley Lane XL Extruder fitted with the notched circle disc and extrude your white peppermint base log
2. Flip the extruder barrel to the clean end, load red soap dough, and fit the 4-hole stripe disc
3. Extrude the red stripes and place 8 of them into the 8 notches in your extruded white base.
4. Roll to create a seamless mint.
5. Embed your finished peppermint log into your cold process loaf or slice it and hand shape each into an individual mint.

Plan Your Soap Dough

Here's how much soap dough you'll need per inch of finished log:

• White base disc: ~11g per inch
• Red stripe disc: ~1.8g per inch
• Combined total: ~12.8g per inch

For a standard 10" loaf: ~128g of soap dough total (~110g white + ~18g red).

Why the Extruder Disc Beats a Static Mold

A static peppermint mold gives you one shape, one size, every time — and getting the stripes right is a whole separate challenge. This two-disc system lets you control the length of your log and takes the stripe placement completely off your plate. No more freehand red lines, no more uneven spacing. 🧼

Care

Hand wash both discs with a soft brush, dish soap, and warm water. Avoid soaking for long periods and air dry fully before storing. 🧽
